Terms & Conditions

1. Prizes are not transferable for cash.
2. Competition is only open to South African residents.
3. Competition is only open to members of the Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Facebook Group.
4. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
5. Copies of these terms and conditions are visible on the Professional- Lawnmower.co.za  website, and will be made available to participants via email on request.
6. By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7. Each entrant is notified of his/her right to decline taking part in reasonable post-event publicity and allowing Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin to use his/her names and photographs in such publicity provided that, within 3 days from the date that an entry is submitted, the participant sends written notification to Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin, at the email address of: guy@lawnmower.co.za , of his/her decision to decline.
8. By entering this prize draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin only for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
9. Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin will not store any personal information once the competition has closed.
10. Winners will be notified via the Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Facebook page. The winners must claim their prize within 10 business days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
11. The winner must collect their prize from the address specified by Professional, at their own cost.
12. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion/competition without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
13. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain written permission from their parents or guardians before entering.
14. Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin are not responsible for entries that are late, incomplete or that are not received due to technical problems of any sort.
15. Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin are not responsible for any injury or damage to your, or any other person’s computer, mobile telephone or other device used by you or any other person to enter into the competition.
16. By entering the competition you indemnify Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin from any claim arising from the use of the prize, however it is caused.
17. Where applicable, the winner will be determined by way of a random draw, or if not applicable, will be chosen by judge/s selected by Professional.. The draw will be limited to entries that have fulfilled the posting requirements.
18. Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin are not responsible for any costs or expenses which you, or any other person, incur during and for purposes of your entry into the competition and your acceptance and/or use of a prize.
19. If you use a mobile phone for entry into the competition, any SMS or data will be charged at the prevailing rate of your service provider – Free SMSs do not apply.
20. Only one entry per person per separate Professional FACT post will be permitted, and subsequent entries may not be honoured or accepted.
21. Competitions are not open to those persons who are a director, member, partner, employee or agent of Professional, any consultant to Professional, as well as any family members of Professional employees, and any other person who is controlled by Professional.
22. Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin  accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin by the relevant closing date for any reason. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of the Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin and are not returned.
23. Late entries will not be accepted.
24. Prizes are not transferable, refundable or exchangeable, and no entrant may win more than one prize per competition.
25. Should the competition be run on a social media platform such as Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, then the following rules will apply:
    1. The entrant releases the social media platform from any liability in any respect.
    2. Entrants may not inaccurately tag content, and such inaccurate tagging shall result in disqualification.
    3. The entrants and Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin acknowledge that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the social media platform.
    4. The entrants and Professional and/or Lawn Care Nuts South Africa Group admin acknowledge that they use the social media platform at their own risk.
    5. The entrant may not use multiple accounts, and anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be disqualified.
    6. Multiple entries in a single day will result in disqualification.
    7. By entering, entrants agree to comply with the policies and rules set by that social media platform.

Professional reserves the right to cancel this competition without notice and without giving reasons to entrants, at their sole discretion. No correspondence will be entered into regarding any aspect of this competition
